About this item
- Compatibility: USWF black carbon and fluoride gravity filters can be used as a replacement for the Berkey BB9-2 and PF-2 in the Big Berkey, Travel, Royal, Imperial, and Crown series systems. They are also compatible with the USWF Gravity system as well as the Waterdrop King Tank, Purewell, Alexapure Pro, and Doulton W9361122, & W9361123 systems. Please note this is a compatible replacement part, manufacturer's names have been used only for reference. USWF is an independent brand.
- Effective Filtration: US Water Filters carbon gravity filter elements use only natural and sustainable coconut shell carbon media which reduces chlorine, sediment, and other impurities while also improving the taste and odor of the water. The Fluoride post filter utilizes a food grade resin specifically designed for fluoride reduction to ensure you have clean, great tasting filtered water.
- Responsible Manufacturing: This filter has passed authoritative NSF/ANSI 372 certification. Production materials are strictly controlled to ensure a lead-free, BPA-free product with excellent filtration performance and user safety.
- Long-Lasting Filter Life: The two fluoride filters (white) and the two carbon filters (black) can effectively filter up to 1,000 gallons of water and 6,000 gallons of water respectively. This means that each pair of fluoride filters can filter as much as 7,500 plastic bottles (16.9oz) worth of water, and each pair of carbon filters can filter over 45,000 bottles (16.9oz).
- Easy to install: Simply place the filter into the gravity filter chamber, and secure the washer and wing nut firmly to prevent leakage, then connect the fluoride filters to the threads of the black carbon filters. Please Note: These filter elements DO NOT lower TDS, but they can be combined with PF-2 fluoride filters, or others to meet different needs. Filters must be flushed for 1 minute with the priming washer before use to ensure proper flow.
